Piano Tuner AI · Effective 25 September 2026
These terms govern your use of the Piano Tuner AI app and any purchase you make in it. By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Piano Tuner AI is developed and provided by its independent developer (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@pianotuner.pro.
You need to sign in to use Piano Tuner AI. Your piano profiles, measurements and pitch curves are stored under that account and synchronised through our cloud service. You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in provider secure. You can delete your account and its data at any time as described on the data deletion page.
Piano Tuner AI verifies your sign-in and your Google Play access online. An internet connection is required to sign in, to buy or restore a purchase, to synchronise your data, and to start paid features. Without a connection, paid features may be unavailable until the app can verify your access again. The one exception is lifetime access, which the app can confirm from Google Play’s record on your device while you are offline (see section 5).
You are responsible for your own internet access and any data charges your carrier makes for it.
Nothing in these terms removes any right you have under the consumer law of the country you live in, including rights to a remedy for digital content that does not work as described.
A purchase gives one person a personal, non-transferable licence to use the paid features. It is not for sharing an account between several people.
A lifetime purchase is a one-off payment that unlocks the paid features of Piano Tuner AI for as long as Piano Tuner AI is offered. “Lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the app and its service, not to the lifetime of the purchaser or of any particular device.
We develop Piano Tuner AI actively and may add, change or remove features. We will not remove the core tuning features you paid for from a paid tier without a reasonable replacement or notice.
We may decide to discontinue Piano Tuner AI or its online service. If we do:
Piano Tuner AI is a tool that helps a piano technician or owner tune an instrument. Its readings depend on the microphone, the room and the instrument, and they can be wrong. You decide what to do with a reading and you remain responsible for the instrument.
Tuning puts load on strings, pins and the soundboard. Pitch raises and the optional motor-assist hardware in particular can break strings or damage an instrument that is old, rusted or in poor condition. Use them with care, and at your own risk. If you are unsure, have a qualified technician do the work.
To the extent the law allows, the app is provided “as is”, and our total liability to you for any claim relating to Piano Tuner AI is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including damage to an instrument, lost earnings or lost data.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Do not share your account or purchase with other people, copy, resell or redistribute the app, circumvent its access checks or device limit, interfere with its service, or use it to break the law. We may suspend paid access on an account that does, after telling you why.
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change materially affects paid access we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the updated terms. A change never takes away access you have already paid for.
These terms are governed by the law of the country where the developer is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there.
