Delete Your Data

Piano Tuner AI stores your piano profiles, inharmonicity measurements and pitch curves under the account you sign in with, so they are available on any device you use. You can delete that account and everything stored with it at any time, and you do not need to contact anyone to do it.

Delete your account from the app

Open Piano Tuner AI and sign in, if you are not already.
Open the menu in the top corner of the tuner screen.
Choose Delete account.
Read the confirmation and choose Delete permanently.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no waiting period, no recovery window, and no backup we can restore from afterwards. If you want to keep any of your tuning records, save them before you start.

If you can no longer open the app

If you have uninstalled Piano Tuner AI, lost access to your device, or cannot sign in, email support@pianotuner.pro and ask for your account to be deleted. Include the email address you signed in with, or the name of the sign-in provider you used, so the right account can be identified. Requests are handled within 30 days.

Please use email rather than the public issue tracker for this. A deletion request has to name the address or account you want erased, and an issue is visible to everyone — publishing the identifier you are asking to have removed defeats the purpose.

What is deleted

Your account and sign-in identity
Your profile record: name, email address and profile picture as supplied by your sign-in provider
Every piano profile, including instrument details and notes
Every inharmonicity measurement and pitch curve
Any support or sponsorship message you sent from inside the app, including the copy queued for delivery
The record linking any purchase to your account
All of the above as stored locally on the device you delete from

What is kept, and why

Kept	Reason
A record that a billing notification was already processed, with your account identifier removed	Prevents a repeated notification being handled twice. It no longer identifies you.
Your purchase history held by Google Play	Google Play, not Piano Tuner AI, is the seller of record. Deleting your Piano Tuner AI account does not cancel a subscription or request a refund — manage those in Google Play.
An opaque hash recording that this device redeemed the 20-minute welcome trial	Prevents repeated introductory trials after account deletion and reinstallation. It contains no account ID, email address, raw Android ID or iPhone device identifier, or tuning data, and cannot be used to restore your account.

Signing in with Facebook or Instagram

If you signed in with Facebook or Instagram, Piano Tuner AI used Meta only to confirm who you are. Deleting your account here removes everything listed above and ends the app's access to your Meta account. It does not affect your Facebook or Instagram account itself.

You can also revoke access from Meta's side at any time: use Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites in Facebook, or Website permissions → Apps and websites in Instagram. Revoking access stops future sign-ins, but it does not by itself delete data already stored — use Delete account in the app, or the request route above, for that.

Cancelling a subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription, and cancelling a subscription does not delete your account. They are separate: cancel a subscription in the Google Play Store under Payments and subscriptions.
